Yesterday evening, after 1:30 drive in the rain, we have come to Ulsan
. For those who have followed the blog, this city is nothing endearing and we do not come here to stroll. We make the road to come and enjoy the
Hyundai Art
Center, conveniently located just across the yard
Hyundai Heavy Industries .
We have the chance whatsoever to attend, and for our first time, an opera. And not just any since this is a dramatic opera in 3 acts, I appointed
The Traviatta , Verdi.
This is primarily based on Opera 3 roles.
Violetta (soprano), Alfredo
her lover (tenor) accompanied by his father, Giorgio
(baritone).
Briefly,
Violetta, a sick woman, decides to give up a life of a courtesan after meeting with
Alfredo, whom she falls madly in love at a party with friends in Paris.
Unfortunately, Giorgio
, the father, the sum to waive his son, not to jeopardize the reputation of his family. Who would want a woman's reputation as a courtesan stepdaughter?! Violetta leaves
therefore
Alfredo without further explanation, it will never recover.
In acts that follow, Violetta
dark in the sickness and is dying a slow fire. Giorgio
by humanity, or perhaps out of guilt, confess the truth
Alfredo, who then rushed to the bedside of
Violetta and tells her he knows. She tells him she has always loved, and love until death, which approach. Death
approach so that the end of the third act sees
Violetta dying in the arms Alfredo .
She dies, but dies happy to have found his love, the only true love she has ever had.
melodramatic!
The opera was played by a troupe of Seoul
appeared to be of good quality, apart from a second tenor part a bit disappointing, since playing too low for our liking. In the opinion of experienced people, it was indeed disappointing, but the soprano was perfect in this role extremely physical.
