Can I Congradulate My Ex On His Engagement

Little Red

During a walk this weekend , I came across this little red book.
Not just little red book, no!
THE little red book. Whatever
every Chinese in the years Mao Zedong , should possess, read, learn and always wearable.
This book is actually a collection of Mao quote , then leader of the People's Republic of China from 1949 to 1959, supposed to allow the development of "thought Mao Zedong " strongly influenced by communism.
During the Cultural Revolution, which was more a struggle to power a real revolution, the study of the book was compulsory in schools and the workplace.
the death of Mao , the study the book was abandoned and increasingly considered as amounting to a cult of personality.
Later I will try to take time to reverse Mao , President / Dictator very controversial in the history of China, on the Cultural Revolution, set up by him even and the evolution of communism in China ... what program!

Bonus (from the little red book):
"Our Economic Policy" (January 23, 1934), Selected Works Mao Zedong ,
Volume I.

"For many of our executives develop dangerous tendencies, which
manifested by their reluctance to share with the masses of the joys and sorrows and their desire for fame and personal gain.

is very bad.

During the movement for increasing production and achieving economies of
, we must simplify our bodies and transfer pictures to
lower levels for many of our executives return to production; is one of methods to overcome these dangerous tendencies. "

2000 Lincoln Ls Program Remote

WWWWHH

Stars! I realize that when I announced to my family and my friends I left for Busan, South Korea, I had law has stifled cries of astonishment. "What Korea? But it's dangerous, Would there not a dictator, not the bottom ???!".
One of my first posts had been a small article explaining the Korean War. "What is or "You can see here .

And here I am now in China, Shanghai.
Oddly, the less excitement. mouaii, perhaps because the China eventually everybody knows. And then "Shanghai is a bit like Paris" dixit other!
So for those who still want to know or I'm shit now, for my grandmother who thinks I am in India (as my Mom said China), for my darling little sister who certainly did not learn his geography course for GCSE, for all others who know that China is "a right" but do not know or clearly, and because one does not often enough time to get back to basics .. . Well here is
China is this big green poo-roads paved in the middle of the photo. Shanghai
And this is not the capital, no! This is a small coastal town 14 million inhabitants, making it the most populous city in the country. The capital is Beijing, famous for its Peking Duck (Beijing in English).
To read the history of Shanghai, the pearl of the Orient, its origins as a modest trading port, its occupation by foreigners, the Opium War, the 2010 World Expo to be held there .. . is here.
I hope you enjoy my photo montage, for which I appealed to all my talented graphic designers!

The synthesis of the tenth day ...

As the post title suggests, so I put my bags in Shanghai for 10 days.
Phew! That's happened during those 10 days?! If anyone asks, I answer, well now.
So I arrived last Sunday, live at the hotel, bed early to recover from the shock departure and take the time to realize what was happening.

Monday, 9 am at the office, the time of the inventory of work involved, a disturbing mass, huge, waiting, and my team of engineers also with their technical questions (for me to gauge ?...).
week was very rhythmic apart between visits, a few evenings spent in the office, tracking the city to assess what neighborhood to choose my apartment, open a bank account at the Bank of China, begging for a phone in HR (I have a new mobile number that want to), re-visit apartments and sleep a little.
Saturday was the first opportunity to breathe a little, and you can start a stroll through town.
After 5 hours of walking length, and the bottom is good ... I finally landmark in the district of the French concession only.
Regarding other areas, we will see later.
Sunday, re-visiting apartments 9h am and, phew, free time in the afternoon.
My feet are ruined, I'll think about buying a bicycle at the earliest. Ah
bicycle! The Shanghainese love it, new ones, the rotten, the electrical, with trailers, with bell, folding, has buckled wheels ... here an Asian country as I love ... with bicycles everywhere!
Scooters And also ... a lot of scooters, but the positive is that a large majority are electric. Stars
I heard that Paris was spinning subsidies to buy electric scooters ... what avangardist.
I also heard that the Pope had been a flop at the Zenith and Martine Aubry cons condom ... What a beautiful Europe!
Otherwise, still loose, I learned that the death penalty 10 has killed 12,000 people per year in China (details here's a shot in the neck, and the legend want the government to pay the ball to the family of the condemned "There is no small savings / /).

To return to my program on Sunday, I went to the market in the South Bund Fabric to make me a bespoke suit (40 euro) and three-measure shirts (9 euro each). So as I still had some money in my pocket, I did make a raincoat, as custom (40 euro).
Shop are a pleasure, especially since it can all select the fabric first, then cut the number of pockets, shape, number and type of buttons, the type of pass, the type of cuff, the color of the lining, double stitched.
If we do not really know what you want, just come with a photo of the handsome Hugo Boss suit appeared in La Redoute, and rolls for a copy at 50 euro. From what I've seen the result looks pretty good. I get my artwork next weekend, so I can better judge the results.
And then ... Well a new week starts. And it starts pretty well because after a dozen visits, I finally found The Apart I looked in the middle of the French Concession, 15 minutes from the office, walk away.

Happiness.
I am moving Saturday.
I'm going to Ikea tonight to choose my new couch.
Aah! I had forgotten the joy of lounging at Ikea! I really want to say that i like serious Ikea. That is saying!
I even made "pasta bolo" the Ikea restaurant. The dream is not it?
If the work continues. Technically challenging, the pace is grueling and it is only the beginning, the quality of ships is alarming, but I take great pleasure in this new work.

Why Do You Say Over When On A Walkie Talkie

End On End The Season 1

This post about my life in Korea written in extremis , live from the airport ... I have 30 minutes before boarding. Small
back.
Last Friday, the date of my arrival at Shanghai was asked. The following week has been dedicated to the organization to change my country.
Not surprisingly, it was overloaded, between appointment with relocation companies , preparation of the move, closure of bank account and internet connections and cable, find adoptive parents for my plants and make the transfer from home, finishing final projects at the office, dinner with colleagues goodbye, goodbye evenings with Friends, last part of PS 3 in Paolo, and of course some time spent with my darling privileged.
So I spent 11 months in Korea . I can not say yet what impact this has had or will have on me.
I'll take the time to realize that this passage in China is final and there will not be too late, a few weeks to do a little introspection and tell you the state of my ego!
few points I can of now-and- already confirmed. The Korea is not on the other side of the earth, compared to France. It's another planet, a little known and even unknown to many Westerners.
It might seem extremely difficult to integrate in this country, and feel like home, but the wealth of Koreans is their kindness, the pride they have for their country, the dedication has brought their company the willingness to evolve and transform their country make this country a relatively pleasant experience and the integration is smooth. In some
The year Korea has evolved from underdeveloped countries at the stage of economic power spot among the most influential most of the world.
must also remember every moment 30 years ago, freedom of movement at night, recreation, and many other personal freedoms were not valid in South Korea .
While this rapid forcing causes some short-circuit here and there. A little too
amazement (often very heavy) vis a vis foreigners, a little too much personal pride on the part of older men, to whom any of them, first by women but also by any other person who will be younger (over-) proof of compliance in any circumstance.
But the main point is that I felt at home here. (Unlike my home loan that I could never give me a apart of 170 m2 with 2-storey terrace and sea view - a detail!).

And since fashion is the series (24, heroes, Dr. House ..), one had an end of season 1.
Here we are.
Season 2, then begin a Shanghai, with new actors, new scenery, new scenarios, the explosions, stunts has Remi Julienne and surely full full full of surprises.

To my friends and my family: I hope you'll be part of these actors!

A soon for my impressions ... firft

The lanterns

I spent a few pictures taken in Shanghai three weeks ago. I was in China for work, but I was lucky to fall in full festive lanterns.
From what I saw and understood, it is to install sculptures lanterns to mark the end of the celebrations of the Lunar New Year.
