A quick post to mark the new year.
Chinese New Year is actually a narrow term as Korea, Vietnam and other countries using the lunar calendar are historically has spent the New Year on Monday 26 January.
When you do not live in China, therefore need to talk about new lunar year and not Chinese New Year (I've done enough to be able to resume talk!).
And what do the Koreans that day.
In many women will spend a whole Sunday shopping, prepare dozens of dishes, clean the house to welcome guests, caring for children, while men may rest from their hard condition Adj.
Monday and Tuesday are holidays, which makes this weekend's lunar new year, the most important holiday for Koreans.
For me it does it is certainly not the longest, but the opportunity was too good to not take advantage and make a short hop from our neighboring Cambodians.
It's in the next post.
